Emerald City:35 Years of Sisterhood and Service

Rho Omicron Omega Chapter, Baytown, TX celebrated its 35th Anniversary on December 2, 2023.  The theme for the program was Emerald City: 35 Years of Sisterhood and Service. The Chapter’s Present Danielle Phillips welcomed the guest and highlighted the chapter’s greatest achievements over their 35 years of service and sisterhood.  The guest included current and past members along with family and friends. The chapter honored its charter members and presented them with a commemorative plaque. In honor of the leadership over the years, the 2023 Miss Juneteenth pageant winners presented the past presidents as well as the current president with flowers as a video presentation of their platforms and years of service flashed.  The event featured DJ’s 360 movie booth, a live Jazz band Phoenix Rising and later DJ Sam I Am to “Set It Off!” as Sorors and attendees rushed to the dance floor to celebrate this mildstone.
